BMW’s possible design for the new 4-series Gran Coupe (4-door coupe thing) has appeared on the net as possible renderings for patent drawings posted on the “F30post” forum. It looks very similar to the normal 2-door 4-series, but has some elements seemingly taken from the 3-series GT Wagon / Van crossover vehicle. See more photos at Autoblog.

BMW tuner Alpina has just released their new “B4” model based on the standard BMW 4-series coupe. The new B4 has a 3 liter 6-cylinder engine with a twin-turbo. This car has been clocked at 0-60MPH in 4.2 seconds.

A spy video of the new BMW M3 sedan has been leaked onto Youtube, taken by a passing helmet cam on a motorcyclist.

BMW is recalling 76,200
All are equipped with BMW’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine and have exhibited a problem where a lack of oil in the brake system can cause the brakes to require much harder brake pedal pressure by the driver’s foot in order to slow / stop.
BMW will notify owners of defective cars by mail for immediate recall.

The normal 2-series will be released on October 25th, 2013, with the first in-depth views of the new model coming during the Detroit Auto show.

Expecting to fetch 1-1.3 million US Dollars at auction, the Lotec / Mercedes-Benz C1000, a supercar dreamed up by a billionaire in the United Arab Emirates was produced in 1995 and is called “C1000” because of it’s all carbon-fiber body and it’s 1000 horsepower MBZ engine. The original car specs state that the car has a 0-60 time of just over 3 seconds, this hasn’t yet been independently verified. The auction house RKM Collector Car Auctions will be in charge of the auction and it will run October 31 – November 1st, 2013.
